I believe the OP isn't fully turning off his nannies. You have to hold the "traction off" button for at least 5 seconds: - At first, you'll just get an indicator light in the top center of your cluster over the fuel gauge that says "TC" with a line through it and the message "Traction Control Off."
- Keep holding down the button (i.e. it's one long hold, not pushing it twice) and you will get a second indicator light in the upper left area of the tach with squiggly lines being left by a car, and a message saying "Stabilitrak Off." Now all your nannies are off!
It also doesn't matter what mode you're in. Also, you can't use cruise control in this mode. Here's a video that explains all this.

Thank you. I have held the button 5+ seconds to get the second message. Yes, in first gear it breaks traction even with everything on. In 3rd gear and 4th gear from a roll, when I am flooring it, there is a bit of hesitation and I hear the noise the car makes when it cuts timing (think PTM dry or sport 1, and you’re too eager on the gas, that timing cut noise is what it sounds like I’m getting before the car “goes” hard. Also I’m not exactly expecting wheel spin when I floor it in 3rd and 4th, but it’s almost like the car cuts power anticipating the wheels spinning.
In my non-1LE SS I did not have this issue. It just went and it felt a lot more savage. I know part of that is due to the suspension being worsely damped but it did not hesitate like this car does.
