The Mishi hoses are not needed. OE hoses last forever nowadays. Maybe the Mishi coolers are more robust than the OE ones, so that might be a plus. Definitely vacuum bleed your system. I agree, if your temps were fine before, I would just replace with OEM. The ZL1's benefit from
THESE CSF versions when upgrading to the larger fittings and hoses, but I don't think they would be worth much on a stock LT1.
