Couple month update I'm getting sluggishness again when cranking the starter within like 15-20 minutes if I need to take multiple stops and I am noticing the longer it takes to start the worse the burning smell from the starter solenoid? Wonder if my starter is just cooked and I need a new one with an aftermarket heat shield and between that and the additional ground wire that should solve it long term? I'm just reading elsewhere that Chevy dealers are absolutely gouging people for starter replacements since it's an annoying repair (1500-3000b ucks)
