Okay, so I did some testing on the "standard" version of the deflector trim piece at various speeds, up to a normal highway speed and back with the windows down, and the buffeting was 95% gone. Like magic. You can still feel a bit of rhythmic turbulence, but the product works and essentially solves the problem, no more deafening pressure waves, yay
There is a small fitment problem I noticed, though: the top of the triangle leaves a gap from the rubber door seal "plate" (first picture), presumably because the OEM part has a twist near the top edge that meshes better into the rubber (second picture) that Wilder Racing's replica doesn't. Feels like a small deal, though, and hopefully won't cause rain damage as the part does have foam padding around the middle section, similar to OEM, just wanted to call this out to give a full picture.
I'll try the large "track" variant at some point, too, but to be honest the "standard" one is already good enough for me, and I guess the "track" part provides the same effect to higher speed points rather than suppressing wind noise even further.

How hard are these to install?

Installation is trivial, this product uses the same clips as the OEM triangles. Pop the old ones off with a trim tool, press the new ones into the same clip and alignment holes in the door frame, done.
