Thanks guys! After inspecting my end links, I can confirm it's the same nut. However, they're not missing at all lol. Matter of fact the ones on the passenger side are identical as my pictures above. Though, on the driver's side, it's just a regular nut (see pictures below). I'm guessing it was added over the nut as a precaution from a fix back in the days and it loosened up over time

That said, while I was under the car and taking a closer look, I spotted a crack in one of the control arm bushings on the driver's side (see picture below). I'd noticed it before, but back then it was only a bit worn around the edges with no actual cracks. Now it's quite noticeable Lately and occasionally I do hear a clunking or clapping sound. Could this be the cause?

Also, could this explain the vibration I'm feeling between about 55-75 mph? I notice it more on the driver's side, especially through the pedals, though my wife senses the vibration a bit in the passenger side near her feet.
