Some flats can be fixed with those puncture repair kits; others cannot. Last year I cut a corner too tight on a canyon road, and a sharp rock took a gash out of my sidewall. We also have potholes around here that can cause a lot more damage than a nail or screw through your tread.

Thank you for your response, I recall reading that , now that you mentioned . The wife will half to ride in the back seat . Not every tire issue can be fixed with a plug , why I'm getting a Modern spare.
