The ports are good out of the box, I wouldn’t touch it. If he’s taking a lot of material out like porting a lt1, thatll make it lose power. So to me, the real comparison is a pray ported LT1 vs a stock LT2 with only a ported snout to match the 95mm. I’ll take the stock LT2 all day.
The reason I say this, is my track numbers match gpi dyno number gains. GM has published the results of the lt2 vs the lt1.
I really question a lot from those shops these days unfortunately
