Before, I thought it was because he would be on the battery tender, and that would throw-off the diagnostics (some of the emissions-related diagnostics, like O2 heaters, have to go through a start cycle with a large electrical load, like the AC on and the rear defroster activated, right at start-up). I don't think it's your car as much as the app', though. If you take it to the dealer, they have all the access, and could tell you for certain. HPTuners/EFIlive don't have as much power as the OEMs, but perhaps it could be helpful. I'd prefer to use it before going to the dealer, personally, lol.
