it is a truck motor. i think "very high performance" is a stretch. the long block is exactly the same as what you'd find in a 6.2 chevrolet truck. same heads, camshaft, crank etc etc. the intake manifold on the cars is actually worse than what comes on the trucks. the engines make way more tq than hp, peak hp early and then immediately fall off, making 40 whp less by the time it reaches the factory engine speed governor. high performance engines don't do any of that. its a truck motor made for pulling trailers that should've gotten a lot of different parts when it was put in cars.
