I think this is the stuff I used to repair my mother's glass stove top (the steel frame underneath that all of the elements attach into was originally adhered to the underside of the glass with a silicone adhesive and it broke down).

Any suggestions for something that would actually be even stronger than this one? I know this will hold fast so long as it isn't being pulled at under constant pressure to try and detach it (or at least not a significant amount of pressure). I'm thinking about trim pieces that are molded with a curve that doesn't perfectly follow the body line and would "pull" at the tape...
