a10 wierd shift event

2018 zl1 a10, bought used with 10k. I've put another 500 on it so far.

when shifting with paddles, the 3-4 shift is pretty harsh, but in auto mode it's more docile. lately I've noticed that even in D it's just, off a bit, with manual mode being more accentuated.

It feels like the tranny is releasing the clutches for 3, then a split second later grabbing 4 after the revs have changed. you can sort of feel the lash change to decel, then pick back up to accel. this is all with partial throttle, normal from a stop sign, etc.

I have noticed that this only happens when the trans isn't up to temp/maybe 10-15 mile drive, but I have noticed it a few times when it's up to temp, just not consistent.

Is there anything I can check before I take it to the dealer (it is certified preowned, with original warranty still intact)?

I know on my 2017 ss A8, there are procedures you can go through to help it relearn how to shift between certain gears, and I've utilized those before, with some success. Does the A10 have these? Am I looking at a me problem or is it possibly a mechanical problem

I do have a few of the pdr videos I can post if it would help. It obviously doesn't translate the same when watching it on video, but in some circumstances you can hear the exhaust note change like I'm describing, and you can watch the revs fluctuate
