Yes, I deserve a slap for that one... I looked at the photo and had thought it was a photo of a set of guards at the front of the rear tire.

Ok, here is my concern.
Check out this video where he followed the included instructions while tossing common sense out the window.
Look at the gap along the guard.
It looks silly. This gap is going to fill up with all kinds of road crap.
You can see the lower screw.
