It wants to shift but if your driving miss daisy on the pedal the drive-by-wire makes it feel sluggish. You can ease into the throttle after you get a feel for it and have a nice normal launch. I've been running my throttle controller on stock settings for a few weeks now on the low end launches i can almost seemingly defeat the lag in the system without slamming my foot down but after 4th gear you can feel it again if your not aggressive.
