The OP on this post clearly stated he was on a budget, and nothing about PI setup that runs $7400 (for those not being given the hook up like a lot of us) seems reasonable, especially when you factor in the cost he's going to pay to have it installed, and possibly tuned if he doesn't get a canned tune.
We could go on for days on variables on why one would throw down lower ET's, or better dyno numbers, whether its weather, altitude, DA, dyno, or one of the biggest key factors being the tuner that tunes it. We agree on this, right?
I also mentioned a lot of people go N/A for close to the same price and get great results, right?
I don't think there is a wrong choice on our cars, just a personal choice, and the OP said within a budget that something you stand behind doesn't fall into, plain and simple.
BTW, how many of those previous builds that you had did you get your hands dirty on? Just curious.

Hands dirty on all of them, until this point with the Magnuson. I will, however, be getting my hands dirty when we add the cam and pistons. There is absolutely no debate with what I am saying. I am not guessing. Like I said, it’s best to get the tuner you are comfortable with and go with what they recommend. But make no mistake with your setup, a setup exactly like yours running a Maggie will outperform you at the track. Once you add the converter, game on.
As far as price, sure there are always deals available.
