LOL, sorry if I offended, your post came across to me as if you were stating that "smart and experienced people" automatically know that autos are the way to go, now that they're not "young and dumb", etc, anymore. Sounds like I misunderstood.

My 2002, with STI block, bigger turbo, and no cats sounded outstanding to me. Characteristic unequal header length rumble, with the whistle of a turbo spooling up, mixed in...awesome.
