I compared it to the ATS sedan. Not the Camaro. Compared to the ATS the Nissan Versa trumps it on leg room.
However, you're right, the Versa is an absolutely ugly little shit box as far as looks and performance go. But, I didn't buy a Nissan Versa thinking it was a car that I could look cool in or drive on a track. I bought it because I'm a cheap ass when it comes to DDs and, surprisingly could fit four 6'2"+ adults rather comfortably if needed.
Nissan makes the GTR. It can fit four full sized adults. Not comfortably, but it's not supposed to. Just like the Camaro really isn't either. Although I'd argue that the Camaro has less leg room than the GTR.
I bought the Camaro on the other hand, for a fun weekend car. I have two other vehicles for trips with more than two people if needed.
