Chicago Tommy thank you for that information on heat. I am in NY so that should only be a 6 months of the year issue.

This is my daily driver so I think that I will keep them until they wear out or I have an issue as you suggestted Wiskeyfed.

I have another question - can these tires be plugged. Over the years I have driven over my share of nails. Usually its a $20 repair for the remaining life of the tire. For some reason I thought that I heard one nail hole and these become garbage. Is that right?

You can patch them as long as it's an inch or so away from the sidewalls is what I've been told but i doubt I'd trust a patch on these just get rid of them when the time comes.
