I've run radials up front and bias in back and vice versa. No issues.

But if you run stock 20's up front and bias slicks in back, might not be happy... but if you have skinnies it's fine.

I've done this on 17 and 15 drag radials.

My '10 is currently is on Nitto 555R 275-60-15 drag radials, been on a few road trips with them. But not the best drag radial for best track results.

If OP is stick, slicks might be the way to go, they are more forgiving.

If you've never made a track pass before, I suggest you tech in your car, park, and walk up to starting line area and watch folks make runs for a bit.

MT SR 28 x 6.00 x 17 (or 18)
MH Bias 28x17

The SRs are radials, drive great but much heavier than the MH.
