Might have similar outlines for the tail lamps...but that's it. Nothing else about the car will be even remotely similar. These comparison's crack me up.

There are almost no car's out there today, that don't have at least one feature, that looks similar to any other car out there.

Y'all crack me up, it was a joke...

That's been obvious all along. The renders never quite showed the lines from the prototypes that were always there.

Thats a nice profile post #759. Things are looking optimistic.

Thought I'd play with the colors on the latest render, so I'll just leave these here. The darker colors work better and the lighter ones have made me realize some mistakes I made when putting them together, but they're just quick color swaps.

If they make that dark green, I may have to get rid of my ABM.

Not actually the latest render... check the last page for the quarter window update.

It's ok if just for color versions, speaking of, if you want to do lighter colors, start with the white one, though it doesn't have hood updates either. A tip for colorizing cars, do it on a layer, then double click beside the layer to get the layer style window, then use the underlying layer white slider (hold down option key) to make the lighter colors show back through, makes the blue sky affect the color in a realistic way.

man, that car looks awesome.

Bah. Thought I grabbed the last one, but missed the one with the updated window. Thanks for the tip about the sky effect. I've always wondered how to make that better, since I'm self-taught. I'll play around with it.

So many people make ridiculous comparisons like these, that you pretty much can't know if its a joke or not.

bharabs 05-04-2015 10:45 PM

@Chaz, thanks for all your hard work on the renders so far.

Your latest render is close, but I still see some rounded creases or edges in your render, whereas all the pics release by GM so far seem to have sharp edges. The quarter panel still looks to be lacking some sharp edges. Just my 2 cents, it could be the angle too!

Jeffro19 05-05-2015 08:54 AM

These renders look awesome. Gonna be cool to compare to the actual car. I'm betting Chaz is very close
