New! Camaro RGBWA DRL from Diode Dynamics! Multi-color w/Switchback! USA Made!
http://www.diodedynamics.com/images/...e1_600x115.gif Teaser: 2016+ Chevrolet Camaro RGBWA DRLs from Diode Dynamics! Full RGBW Multi-color functionality w/integrated Switchback Turn Signal feature! The only USA Made LED Board Replacements! :usa2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zC7kTbDg9Kc These modules are a direct replacement for the factory-installed headlight LED panels in the 2016+ Chevrolet Camaro equipped with the premium package headlight housings. From the factory, the DRL LEDs in the headlight are illuminated by a circuit boards that holds white LEDs. Our RBGWA multi-color board is a drop-in replacement. You don't have to align and fasten LEDs- this is an OEM-grade solution. Just remove the old panel, and ours fits directly in place, with patent-pending fit and finish. Made in USA.RGBWA - The replacement panels utilize RGBW and Amber LED chips for full multi-color functionality, a crisp true white color, and a bright amber turn signal with plenty of output for daytime visibility. The white setting will have more visibility than the OEM-white PWM DRL Brightness Settings - Our DRL LED board replacements also feature built-in PWM dimming to retain the low-power and high power settings for daytime and nighttime use, for a true OEM quality effect. http://diodedynamics.com/images/chev...ards_White.jpg http://diodedynamics.com/images/chev...ards_Amber.jpg Remember, this product is not just RGBW - it is RGBW-A! That means there is an LED chip that is specifically white in color, right next to the standard red, green, and blue chips, in addition to an amber LED for the turn signal function. By using an RGBW controller rather than the standard RGB, you can activate and control the white chip independently of the colors. This provides a much more uniform, pure, and bright white color than the traditional method of combining all RGB signals. To drive the LEDs safely, a new constant-current driver is included for each set, for high reliability. You will also need a standard RGB or RGBW controller. Controllers can usually be powered by any standard 12V source. We recommend connecting to the parking light signal, so this module lights up when the parking lights or headlights are on, or to the factory power input signal. For OEM-grade reliability, the LEDs are protected by a thermal management system, which is integrated into the panel and driver. If the temperature of the LEDs becomes too high for any reason, the output of the LEDs will decrease, to ensure long life in even the harshest environments. And of course, the advanced constant-current driver ensures that there will be no damage to the LEDs long-term from the harsh electrical system of the vehicle. Professional installation is strongly recommended, as the factory headlights must be opened in order to replace the LED panels. All Diode Dynamics products are backed by a 3-year replacement warranty. http://diodedynamics.com/images/chev...rd-Collage.jpg http://diodedynamics.com/images/chev...ards_White.jpg http://diodedynamics.com/images/chev...rds_Green2.jpg http://diodedynamics.com/images/chev...oards_Red1.jpg http://diodedynamics.com/images/chev...oards_Red2.jpg http://diodedynamics.com/images/chev...ards_Cyan1.jpg http://diodedynamics.com/images/chev...ds_Purple1.jpg This product will be available in early October and is made right here in St. Louis, Missouri! Also, we have a vast network of authorized installers if you don't wish to perform the installation. Thank you, Nick C. |
:drool:DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUDE!
I have a question: will you guys also offer matching light mods for the fog lights? |
Is the white DRL light as bright as the OEM DRLs? I love the amber turn signal idea but I don't want to lose the OEM DRL brightness.

Thanks! Nick C. |
How is this controlled? In other words, is there a method to make the color change from x to y in the cabin, or must one open the housings to make a change?

Awesome!! Can't wait. I installed my own on my two 5th Gen Camaro's. So basically the same thing where you have to bake your headlights to open them? With these with the white and amber work with simply plugging them into the factory connector but to change colors you will need the controller?
