Anyone else have this with their Camaro?

You can hear in the video as I turn left a high pitched metallic grind/squeak

Then at the end of the video a grind-clunk twice.

Drove around to experiment and found:

1. Metallic grind always half a second before full stop
2. Metallic grind-clunk when going from park to drive and back when stationary
3. Metallic grind in lower gears when giving a little on the gas pedal (just before the exhaust noise kicks in)
4. Noises get less as the car warms up, never fully go away though

Anyone else experienced this? 2016 Camaro

Dealer said it was loose bushings. Would that explain the clunk going from park to reverse?

Generally love the car, but these noises don't sound good!

No clue.

I had a metallic squeak and it was the AFM exhaust valves needing lubrication. It happened when stopping, starting, and turning - although I believe it happens when turning because I was letting off the gas and the valve activated. There is a GM brand dry lubricant that you can spray into the valves and the metallic squeak goes away. I think there is even a service bulletin but I don't have it handy.

Now that's very interesting, it does happen in those cases. I'll look into the AFM valves further, thanks very much for the pointer.

Just to update this thread in case anyone sees it who has a similar problem.

SomeGeoffGuy was right, it was squeaky valves and the problem was solved by using dry lubricant. No more chirps or squeaks, at last.

The PDF bulletin with specific instructions is in this thread:
