Let her eat on the way home from work tonight with the drag pack on. Used launch control and it worked pretty good. Only slight bog. Hit 60 without another shift with my raised shift points working properly now. This wasn't an exaggerated time due to spinning. Car was hooked when I hit 60... At the track I've got to be in the very low 3 second range just going off of feel Who's got me beat? Let's see it... |
What is the drag pack on? Launch control?

Are your DR's the same height as your stockers and did you recalibrate the speedo ? I get 4.4 at the strip without a recal.

They are close to stock height. Haven't measured but according to the numbers stock is 27.6 and the dr is 27.8

Ok so you are stating drag radials as a drag package? I ask as there is no drag package but maybe a product I was not aware of.

3.3 on the stock converter is the best I ever saw. If I saw a 3.4 I knew it was a low 11.1 pass. Never checked it with the converter though. Your tires are skewing the time. On the car they are a about .75" taller than the stock tires. So...you actually get to 60mph faster than that. Congrats. What did you finally get the 1/2 and 2/3 to shift at?

6700 was the goal. Looks pretty close to that looking at the dash. Haven't personally checked the log with newest trans tune

I have the same size MT DRs (305/45-17), and noticed the speedometer reads a touch low when they're mounted. MT lists them as 28.1" diameter. The 'hold 4th gear' discussion sheds some light on this, as stock car hits limiter around 111~112 on stock tires, and these tires allow 116 in 4th.
