LPE Injector/HPFP Install, Meth Delete Results
 
I picked up my SS 1LE Camaro from Vengeance Racing yesterday after they swapped out my LT4 Injectors and HPFP for the LPE K-DI Injectors and HPFP and uninstalled the Alky Meth Injection setup. I did not have any problems with the previous setup with Meth, but made a decision to make the setup a little less complicated, even if it meant leaving some power on the table, especially on the 93 Octane side of things. The only question I had was whether to use the LPE or FIC injectors. After several discussions with Ron at Vengeance, I decided to go with the full LPE setup. I am glad I did. Once everything was said and done, the tune updated (both on the dyno and several miles of driving on both E85 and 93), the new combo exceeded my expectations by a pretty good margin, especially on the 93 pump gas side of things. Final dyno numbers were 862 rwhp on E85 and 835 on 93 pump gas. The car has pretty good street manners for what it is.......that is, until I get into boost, then it's pretty unruly......but I can live with that. :headbang: Ron and his crew have done an awesome job on this project every step of the way....I couldn't be happier!

So did it pick up more on 93 cause that would be odd. Curious to see what your IAT’s do off the dyno.

You still running the single Zl1 Intank Pump?

Not sure of IAT's off the dyno, to be honest, as I just got the car back on Friday. I suspect the increase in power on the 93 pump gas dyno pull was due to there maybe being some residual amounts of E85 in the tank which helped it make a little more power. The E85 side of things picked up some horsepower over the meth setup, as well. There could be all kinds of explanations for the pickup in power. Tune changes, weather condition differences between January and March, ect. In any event, the last two dyno pulls were just to verify everything still looked good on both fuels after the driveability tune changes were completed.
