i just joined the forum and didnt see there was a tire and wheel page.
im getting 20x10 and 20x11 the offset is +23 +43 they are STANCE WHEEL SF07s. i also have mag ride with stock height. should i do 285/35 305/30 or 275/35? i kept seeing that i cant with mag ride. will rub. Hear you have to cut the rear axle bolt?

thank you!

20x10" and 11" are the standard sizes for the SS 1LE and ZL1.

That tire size is 285/30 and 305/30. The /35 is too tall.

You ordered wheels and don't know the offset? The 1LE OEM offsets are:

(F) 20, (R) 43

The standard "convention" that most people go with is 285/30/20 front, 305/30/20 rear with those aftermarket wheel sizes and offsets, very similar to the SS 1LE setup.

I wanted a bit more sidewall than that and less difference from stock SS MRC sizes, so I settled on 275/35/20 front and 315/30/20 rear, which works perfectly and looks killer with those steamroller style rears. Change from stock is only 3-4 revs per mile in the same direction, little to no impact on rake and stability under high load, and I've just finished a 1000-mile roadtrip with zero issues.

No rubbing at all with 315s. Note that my main body wiring harness is relocated on the driver side, see this thread for details.

As to front sizes, 275/30 will be too short and may cause stabilitrak/ABS issues when paired with 315/30 in the rear, because the front end will be 4.3% shorter while the rear only by 0.7%. You will also lose almost 18% of your front sidewall, so I bet the ride will be tangibly worse.

I'd say either simply go with the SS 1LE specs, or have 35 aspect ratio in the front. I can recommend my setup, it works perfectly well; if you want to fill the wheel wells a bit more, you can do 285/35 fronts (with small spacers) paired with 325/30 rears, it will still work fine.
