Dude, don't give up on her yet! Give us more details, what's she doing, what's in the system, any new mods, services, etc?

Yea man if you have JUST water in it, it'll overheat for sure. We haven't been able to get away with just water since the 70's, lol. And remember with any coolant issue, always start simple. There's a bunch of easy stuff that could cause one to overheat. Change your stat, flush it out, make sure your hoses aren't collapsing under pressure, make sure your fan is kicking on when it's supposed to. Then start moving on to more important things.

na i dont put water in it. lol i put 50/50 coolant. and ima see whats up. i think ima get it towed tomorrow to my friends dads shop cos i dont think i could even drive it. this really sucks because i dont have a ride to school now. i went to walmart today to buy a rain suit cos i would walk to work if i have to and if it rains atleast i wont get that wet with the rain suit, because its been raining horribly here all week.
