Storing car on quick jack?

According to quickjack it's acceptable to store a car on their jacks. My question is, is there an issue with having the suspension on full drop? The advantage is obviously no flat spot on the tires over the winter and less mass on spring so less sag over time.

I've stored my 1LE on my quick jacks for the past 5 years during the winter months with no issues whatsoever. I'm actually getting ready to put mine away in the next couple of weeks. It'll be on the lift until April or May. 👍

Shouldnt be an issue. Flat stoppers being a cheaper way if you dont have quickjacks already.

Not a Z/28, but I stored mine on Quickjacks last winter, and is already on them for this year. I haven't had an issue with it.

All very good info on the QuickJack setup.
I was wondering about long term.

Happy Holidays

I am sure by the jacks standards its alright to keep in that position and on load, I however, I wouldn't want my suspension hanging for a long period of time. Especially shocks that are very hard to come by, but again that's just me. Those jacks are nice to have, I personally use flat stoppers and have worked out great over the years on my 1LE and now the Z. Cheers!

Storing a car with the suspension unloaded puts stress on your rubber bushings and can shorten their life-not a huge deal but your better off just taking some weight off the tires instead of lifting completely off the ground. Add a little extra air to your tires and you wont have flat spot problems.

Yes, some stress is always on the bushing but I doubt very much more stress than when car is on all 4s.

IMHO

It twist them the wrong way with the wheels off the ground. Thats why when you replace bushings they tell you to set the car at normal ride height before you torque your bushings. If you have poly its normally not as big of a problem as rubber.
