Thanks for asking. Physically she is very sore but definitely on the mend. Unfortunately she has suffered another blow. One of her best friends who was on that run with her where she crashed the bike, died Thursday night when he went off the road in his truck and rolled several times. He was ejected as he wasn't wearing a seat belt. But judging by the pics of the truck, I highly doubt he would have survived even if he was strapped in. It was completely smashed.
He had just visited her earlier in the evening to borrow her XBox. She said she still wanted to come visit me as it was a planned weekend, but it was pretty somber around here most of Saturday. I did manage to help her perk up a bit with movies and a trip to a local car show by the time evening rolled around. Sunday was a tad better. The kid has been beat up pretty good the past few weeks. I feel bad for her. (Not to mention for the family of the young man killed last week, so unexpectedly.)

Man that is terrible news danial. I’m sorry she’s going thru so much. Certainly more than is easily accepted by any one let alone a lady so young. I’ll keep her in my prayers.

That’s terrible. Especially as she saw him that day.

Nice lineup. Although I have owned multiple examples of all four gens, I remain partial to gens 1 and 2. And gen 5, of course.

Thank you for the kind words, sir. (It's my granddaughter and her 17 year old friend, btw.)
