I'm looking for help finding a mod to eliminate the shift inhibiter for a 2SS manual trans. Any info is appreciated.

Go to slponline.com. Surf into 2010 Camaro powertrain stuff. They've got an inexpensive DIY mod that does what you want.

If you don't want to buy from SLP, just search for "skip shift eliminator". That is the device you're looking for. I believe they're lke 30 bucks to purchase and are a pretty simple install.

I purchased mine off of ebay it works flawlessly. If you pay more than $12.95 you're paying too much. It's just a short wiring harness with a resistor that plugs in line with an existing connector. If you are a half way knowledgeable electrician, you could make one for less. The ones from SLP and others are OVERPRICED.

I ordered mine from MarylandSpeed via the web for a lot less than SLP directly and paid $8 in shipping instead of the $12-$16 others are wanting. Total was less than $35, shipped same day, arrived 2 days later (today) and installed tonight in about 5 minutes. Super easy and the light doesn't even come on on the dash anymore.
