Based on what I’ve read it’s official. Drive modes does almost nothing for me
As it’s been discussed here and elsewhere, what do the drive modes really do to the car.
Since I have a manual- Since I have deleted mufflers and not using npp as a result- Since I have a throttle/pedal sensitivity adjustment device (Soiler performance)- And since I don’t have magnetic ride control as an option- I think it’s official. Drive modes change steering stiffness and I would assume that’s all. Maybe traction control? That’s about all I believe. Does that sound accurate to you all? |

Drive modes will still effect throttle mapping.

Steering stiffness delta between modes isn't marginal, and there's also the throttle mapping that King mentioned.
See also the summary below for completeness.

Thanks for the replies!
But doesn’t my soiler throttle controller override throttle mapping? |

So, to answer your question directly, no—although the TC does alter the output, GM's throttle mapping is still going to be part of the equation.
