BC Forged Polished lip on zl1

Hey everyone I’m looking for opinions on a BC Forged wheel i am thinking about purchasing with the “polished lip” option for my shadow gray metallic ZL1. Most if not all of the aftermarket wheels I’ve seen on this color car are all dark in color without any chrome/polished wheels. Thoughts on how that would look before I spend the cash and regret it later? I know that it’s all personal opinion but was just unsure if it was because of brake dust or if people just aren’t into polished wheels on these cars…..

If you're doing a polished lip then what color face are you going with?

because those are the exact same wheels (design wise) that I will be ordering just can't make up my mind on the finish. I also like the Brushed Bronze look but am not sure how it will look with my Shadow Gray Metallic ZL1....thougths?

BC Forged brushed dark black is an amazing color. That's what we had on our C8 Corvette Z51.

Looks great on a white car, looking for something not quite so dark on my darker colored car.

They aren't quite as dark looking as in the picture, in the sun they can almost look very dark grey but there's no question they are going to be darker than a bronze. That being said, you'll love the brushed finishes, it really is a high quality finish, looks very thick and textured under the clearcoat.

Maybe i just have not been noticing, or this is because of my area, but I feel like the polished lip wheels were popular maybe 5-10 years ago, and have lost popularity since. I think they can look good, but personally I think a solid wheel color is cleaner, dont kill me!

It is personal preference as you said, but that said, my guess is you would have a more difficult time selling them than a wheel that is all one color. just my 2 cents though.

after my extensive research it's hard to find any ZL1s without a solid color scheme on the wheels...i had all chrome ZO6 wheels on my trans am, but that car was white so it wasn't too flashy....this car i don't think i can do all chrome with so i think maybe a nice bronze finish will look good with the shadow gray
