1LE Front Splitter Needed

Well I finally managed to run the splitter onto a sidewalk when I was pulling the car into a parking spot this evening. I think I even felt the car raise a bit. I am so freaking pissed off at myself. Car managed to go over 6 years without a single scratch and now this. I am going to call up my part guy tomorrow and see if he can find one even though they have been discontinued. But i also wanted to go ahead and post this in case he can't find me one. If he can't locate one, I am looking for a nib or equivalent. I believe for my 2015 the part number 22997432 if I'm not mistaken. I will update this after I see if he can even find one.

Well my man told me that not a single dealer is showing having a 1LE splitter in stock. He can't believe that this part is already discontinued...thanks a lot gm. So if anyone has one or knows were one is by chance, please get in touch with me either here or private message. Again wanting a nib or equivalent. Thanks guys

Ouch! I've got a few scratches and a small crack on my cow-catcher and I feel your pain! Over in the Z/28 section (pg 4) member Justified mentioned he had his splitter repaired. Provided it is not mutilated maybe you could have yours restored?

Wow. Would have never guessed that the 14/15 splitters are discontinued. The cars arnt even that old and I feel like thats a piece thats easily messed up.

Try to check for your splitter under a different edition. When I messed mine up and needed the reattachment stuff I couldn't find anything for a 13 1le BUT I found them for a 13 Dusk edition. I believe it was even a different part number too.

So try a different edition. The 14/15 1LE splitters are used for the commemorative edition, the spring edition and the green flash edition. Thats off the top of my head. I think there's more than just those.

Yeah sucks big time but I knew it was just a matter of time to be honest. I looked at it today and it appears to be just scratched and gouged pretty good. No signs of cracking or deformation. So like I said if I can't find one then I will pull mine and fix it.

Thanks and yes I did some more digging today like you suggested. I see a few are still available but they come prepainted either yellow or white and a red. I was able to find a couple of older superseded part#'s but not finding much on the web though. I will call my guy this coming week and see if he shows anything. Yeah these shouldn't be discountinued yet IMO as well. Absolutely ridiculous and what pisses me off is the fact that i was going to buy one last year to have as a spare but instead i ended up passing on every single that was posted for sale. Oh well at the end of the day, it will be fixed one way or another.

Thanks guys for the suggestions. I have also looked at the Anderson Composites carbon fiber 1LE splitter as well. But I'm not sure if it would look right on my ride being the only carbon fiber piece?

Ended up getting a white splitter. Less than a handful left according to my parts guy. It is a identical match to my splitter including the part # stamped on it except being painted white. It came with all the hardware and brackets. I am going to talk to my paint guy in the next few days and see what options we have regarding media blasting it or stripping the white off.
