Difference between Castrol SRF & Castrol SRF React?

I asked this in the fluid's section, but thought I might get more exposure here, so I will ask here as well...

I am looking to do a 1 year flush on my 1LE to which I flushed to SRF last year, and noticed Amazon has 2 versions of it now.

The silver bottle that I used last year labeled as SRF and a new gold bottle that is labeled SRF React.

Anyone know if there is a difference?

Every Castrol SRF bottle I've seen has been gold bottle React. The VIR shop has it in stock and the only one they have is the SRF React.

I have only ever used SRF and had the same question. They seem to have slightly different boiling points.

I was unable to find the data sheet for SRF on the Castrol website. This makes me wonder if SRF React is replacing SRF and companies are just working through the stock of SRF.

SRF React is the latest evolution of Castrol SRF.

You are correct sir, vendors are working through their stock and Castrol is likely honoring their business relationship with their vendors.

A great product and an honorable business model, in my humble opinion.

This is what I've been buying for 2 years and they ship you the gold bottle of SRF React.. They just have the wrong picture on the web page
