Exhaust Cutouts
Anyone have exhaust cutouts? I wanna install some. Electric preferably. Any good brands? When I feel like being an asshole I switch out my Hooker Blackheart slip-ons for some straight pipes. SUPER LOUD !! Lol Id rather just buy some cutouts.

I did eBay cutouts... I spent $100 on the cutouts and $60-$80 for a muffler shop to weld them in (can’t remember exactly). I love being obnoxious when I want to be.
They work great but keep in mind they will all leak just a little. https://youtu.be/XIY07qtg4gA

The deal is if you want electric they are going to burn out the motors eventually and some don't last that long as reported on here...… so IMO cheap may actually be better, and some spares might be wise...…..

They work great so far. And if they burn out, no big deal. The motors are cheap as long as you stay away from the expensive ones like QTP. The biggest drawback is they leak a little, bit even the QTPs do.

I have QTP. They've been on for almost 2 years and I open and close them at least once a day without any issues.

I also have QTP's and use them every time I drive (not daily). I did have one of the stacked gears in the motor gear train chip a toof. That makes the controller iffy at times, but otherwise no big deal. A spare motor is only $67

I bought a pair of oval QTP cutouts with low profile tips and a QTP electric remotes.

I got some Noweeds a while back. They've been on the car for almost two years, no issues, well-made product, not cheap. It's debatable what makes me grin most, the noise when you dump the lot out each side or the whine from the Magnuson. In fact, it's prob the Noweeds. Wake them neighbours!

We have had a lot of success with QTP over the years. If you decide to buy a set, call us. We always have some kinda deal going on.
They make pretty much a direct fit system, which we sell here- https://www.cspracing.com/quick-time...-2l-v8/500110/ And they make the low profiles, which fit well, but require the shop to do more welding. https://www.cspracing.com/qtp-low-pr...al-kit/qtec66/ We also now sell Turbo Valve cutouts, which are kinda cool. They don't use electric motors, instead they use pnuematic turbo wastgate based valves. https://www.cspracing.com/turbo-valv...pair/amg-tv-3/ |

We have been working with No Weeds diverters for almost a decade. Never once had an electric motor failure, never once had a sealing issue. Can’t say this about any of the electronic motor brands. The noweeds are a very well engineered component. Yes, the initial cost is more, but value is high.
