Thanks for sharing. Reasonable article comments for both cars, though, I think they should have mentioned lack of diff and trans coolers on the PP2 if a buyer is wanting to track the cars.

I can't wait to read the backfires from them article. And is anyone else tired of hearing about the poor visibility in our cars?

Listen some sensitive folks need wide open windows like an aquarium to have spatial awareness. Don't let it bother you. It's a human problem, not a car problem.

Oh, I agree, I'm just tired of every article saying it and beating it into every potential buyer's head. I've had people tell me that they heard it is hard to see out of so they won't even consider it.

Yup, definitely a dumb person issue. I hate cars with big windows that allow the sun to roast me alive. The Camaro barely needs tints and the view is the same as any Miata(top up) and Nissan 350/370Z I've ever driven. Better than the Z actually, because we have more useful mirrors.

Am I the only one that has no problem with the Camaro interior? The only thing I think looks cheap is the top of the dash. Other than that its pretty damn good?!! All the magazines HATE the interior but love the Mustang's? I see it completely the other way....

Everyone loves to shit on GM interiors, it's the low hanging fruit and isn't even relevant anymore. The last interiors that were actually bad were like 15 years ago. I think the Camaro interior looks great and matches the aggressive and sporty style. The Mustang looks dated by about 20 years and belongs in an up-level pickup truck. (With that being said I like the Ford truck interiors better than Chevy/GMC)

Coming out of a 16' M3 (without upgraded full leather option), my SS 1LE is every bit as nice as the M3 was minus a few carbon pieces. Also to note of the MUCH quieter/squeak free cabin compared to the M3. Sitting in the Mustang, I thought it looked cheap by comparison. Before I bought my SS 1LE, the only Camaro I had sat in was a Gen 5, which I thought was crap. So after reading all the rave reviews on the Alpha chassis and how well in handled, I went down to the local dealership, sat in one, touched/pressed every button in the cabin. Nice solid feel with no cheap creaks coming from the trim pieces as you pressed the buttons (My C6 Z06 was NOTORIOUS for this, especially the steering wheel buttons.) Took it for a test drive, it felt premium and solid with no noises. Got back into my M3 and as I was leaving the lot, I heard my door seals squeaking as I went over the driveway at an angle. I was sold.

I love my camaro interior that was one of my favorite parts of the car! I rented a 19 5.0 premium and it had rattles at 1k miles.

Nope. I had a '19 GT. I like the Camaro interior better. Full power seat for one is a huge upgrade than a partial one. And nothing about the Camaro interior I dislike except maybe opening the long armrest. But the interior to me is excellent. People/magazines love to bitch.
