Mission complete: 18x11 and 18x12 RZ05 track wheels from BC Forged! Photoshoot Inside

I can't express how happy I am with Dan and the team over at BC Forged. I want to say that I am not affiliated with them, but I am local to them, which made this an easy decision for me when I got my ZLE and was on a quest to run my existing hoosiers on the ZLE (I'm coming from a race prepared c6Z06).

I contacted the team at BC Forged when I saw very few options on the market to make a track wheel in 18 for our cars. We took my car into their shop for some test fitment and measurements, and discussed what I wanted from a wheel and how I planned to use it. just over 4 weeks later, here is te finished result.

Notes on my car- For the final product pictured below, I am on GM's track alignment settings. -2.7 up front, -2.1 in the rear. We originally did a test fit on stock alignment. Rims are 18x11 and 18x12. Tires are new Hoosier A7's. 315/30/18 front, 345/35/18 rear. I debated running 335/30/18 rears, but I have a few 345's from the vette in my garage.

I highly recommend giving BC Forged NA a call if you want a track setup, forged wheel, that is proven to work on our cars. This is the RZ05. They have a ton of styles and colors available.

On to the show!

Awesome brother! Looks sick!!!!

Glad I went with the RZO5 again but instead of brushed bronze ordered brushed dark black.

Just received my email with the concave depth today

Did you happen to weigh them?

5#’s lighter per front
7#’s lighter per rear
(That’s where and tire weight savings. We did not weigh them without)
So definite weight savings!

That’s what they are on....or do you mean a non 1le?

Of non 1le I know the front struts have a difference but not sure how it impacts these wheels. You’ll have to give the team at BC a call to see. I’m not sure on the normal frimont struts if it would cause an issue

So a question to those that know...

I would like to get new wheels and rims and am (quietly) looking at either HREs or BC Forged. As there is a rather sizeable difference in price between these two companies up here in The Great White North, what is the difference between the two companies when comparing:

https://www.bcforged-na.com/monoblock/kls01/

And

https://www.hrewheels.com/wheels/series-rc1/rc104

When looking at the pics above I’m in love with the possibility of new rims.
