Just ordered on if these for my spring project. Anyone have one? Do you add ice to yours? Run just water in the summer?

I have one. I just recently installed it and run coolant/water cause I don't want it to freeze.

That was the most difficult part. Ensuring that the lines flowed freely and without making contact with hot/moving parts. I have pics on my phone which if I figure out how to put up I will...lol.

It adds volume to the supercharger intercooler system, and allows for the addition of ice to the system as well. Cooler supercharger coolant allows for colder Intake Air Temps and therefore the capacity for more power and less detonation. Hope that helps.

I have some interest in this kit as well for my Whipple SS. I even considered ditching the 2 gal Whipple tank and just using the Weapon X tank with the high flow pump. This would simplify the system and triple the capacity.

Anyone else with any install experience?

Out of those who have it, anyone getting periodic leaking of coolant out of the lid? I have to tighten it by tapping it with a rubber mallet on one of the tabs to ensure it seals, but eventually it leaks out again. Maybe it's too full?

I'm going to do a cooling mod too.
Considering the WeaponX options:
First is thinking of the beefier triple coolers up front paired with the trunk kit you guys are talking about. Should give a lot of extra capacity.

Other option is to do their Boost Chiller. I've got a call to them to see what the pro's/con's are of each. Prob about the same cost for each...

In for the pictures. Would love to see how you ran the hoses. It's really the only thing keeping me from pulling the trigger.

Yes mine leaks out of the lid. I've thread taped it and it still leaks. There's actually pressure on it and seems to seep out. Makes a mess back there.
