Tire chatter when cold on 20" OEM rims

Has anyone heard if Chevy figured out what the annoying tire chatter is when turning sharp when cold? I assume its the run flat and outer tire rubbing. Any dealer input?

Look under "Diff. Groan" in the problem/warranty section

That not the groan. That is cold summer tires chirping on the pavement. It feels like they are skipping when you have the wheel turned full lock at slow speed. Totally normal

On a sharp slow turn, the distance traveled by the inside and outside of the same tire is enough to make some noise, never mind left to right side tires.

This is more pronounced with a wide tire, of course.

The OEM run flats were unpleasant under 40 degrees. I went with all season tires for winter driving.
