I have have searched but could not get the information I was looking for. I am trying to find out what components or exactly what is the FE3 Performance Suspension on my 2017 1SS? Thanks in advanced for any information.

Basically the FE3 suspension is the regular suspension which comes with the Camaro SS. Lesser models have softer suspension, some of the higher models have more effective suspension.

Compared to FE2, here's what I could find:
FE3 suspension components (from the Camaro SS), including dampers, rear cradle mounts, ball-jointed rear toe links and stabilizer bars Reference this link for the V6 1LE: https://media.chevrolet.com/media/us...10-camaro.html I'm pretty certain the springs must be V8/FE3 specific as well, compared to FE2 (not offered on SS).

I really don't like the feel of the FE3 suspension on my 2018 SS. I put a Bilstein B-14 PSS Nordschliffe sport suspension on my 2020 1LT V6 and I could just toss it down a curvy road. The SS feels softer by far, and I don't trust it's limits.
The Bilstein's are $1100 + BMR end links $349 + Install for $600 means a $2000 investnent. Or can my car use MRC? Please let me know what you think. |

What would you do to improve feel of the FE-3 Suspension on SS?
If you bought a CPO 2018 Chevy Camaro SS with the FE3 suspension, what would you do to stop that floaty feeling in the corners? I am thrilled with the V8 and how stabilitrac applies the inside rear brake in fast sweepers in order to pivot the car. That is brilliant.
Would you replace the sway bar links? Strut tower brace? Tires? (Dealer put new Cooper Tires on it at only 12,800 miles citing "the original owner let it sit during Connecticut winter's and the run flats got flat spots". |

It shouldn’t be floaty in the corners. Something is wrong - Maybe the Cooper tires aren’t all that great, or the alignment is off or both. When I bought my new LT1, the car was downright dangerous during hard cornering. Just lost all sense of where the tires were on initial input. An alignment fixed that.. I actually set my car to the 1LE spec alignment. It handles like a dream.. add the 1LE wheels and tires and on a hot day, that puppy is solid and ain’t losing grip. I don’t brake and sometimes accelerate, before exiting known highway exits..lotsa fun.
