I used to be Dragoneye...

I've got your touchless right here: https://www.amazon.com/Chemical-Guys...ds=foam+cannon (I use something very similar to this, regularly) ...I used to put the SS 1LE through the touch-less washes pretty regularly. But with this car...the wrap, CF hood, and wing...I just won't do it. |

If I had to get rid of road salt in the winter, or spent a week end down the Jersey shore.
Otherwise I'll do it by hand.

Don't care if it's touchless or not, I just can't bring myself to let anything or anyone else wash my car. I would rather it be dirty then have someone else jack up my paint. Plus those touchless carwashes uses very harsh chemicals to get it clean.

Pretty sure its not even an option. I had a warning tag hanging on my mirror when I took delivery of the car depicting not to run the car through an automated car wash because the wheels are too wide to fit the tracks.

Never an automated wash, NEVER. Don't care what marketing they have about being "touchless," my car doesn't deserve scratches and marring from a cheap wash. 100% avoid.

I have a regular 1LE and take it to my local touchless wash sometimes. There are no tracks that the wheels go in and it just get sprayed with high pressure water. It cant do any more damage than taking it to the race track and tracking the car.

The local "touchless" car wash just seems to spray water out using different color lights to make it seem like it's doing something at each step, but it seems like just high pressure water for the most part.
