Custom T-Rex mesh grille overlay installed

I was looking for a new grille option for a while now. The Sema and other 'aggressive' looking grille options out there just didn't appeal to me, though. I wanted to do something different. So, I found the T-Rex Upper Class mesh grilles from T-Rex Grilles.

NOTE: apparently they only have a stock photo of the SS, not the LT.

But, I wasn't a fan of the all-metal look (it's a sports car, not a pimpmobile). They also had an all-black one, which I wasn't too fond of either. I wanted a mix of the two. After purchasing the polished metal set, I had the mesh powder-coated a satin black (shout out to Extreme Powder Coating in Hesperia, CA; they did an awesome job), giving it a nice two-tone look. I feel that it gives the car more of a 'classy' look as opposed to the aggressive look most Camaro owners go for. Really sets it apart. Also, matches my 3" polished exhaust tips, and goes really well with the black bowtie.

In fact, I'm REALLY considering the illuminated black bowtie now. The reflection off that polished metal would really make it pop...

I think it looks pretty cool. Making the car your own is the best part about mods. Congrats.
