Power Stop Z26 brake pads - YES!

"Ive got nothing but praise to say about the Z26 pads. As advertised, brake dust is almost completely gone keeping my wheels clean. Before I had to clean them virtually after each drive!

Been looking at these, good to see positive feedback. I was going to wait it out, but the constant dust if I drive 100 ft is just too much for me.

How's the stopping and break-in period?

IMHO they are just as good as stock pads with 0 brake dust!

If someone swapped these pads out and didn't tell you. I am sure you would never suspect a thing other than noticing clean wheels!

Be sure to do the break in properly which is more important on these than stock brakes: 5 straight 40 to 10 MPH moderate/hard stops followed by 5 35 to 5 MPH moderate stops and then 5 minutes of driving without stopping for cool down.

I'm running them. Did the brake bedding procedure. They are working well, and the fact that I don't have a layer of dust on my rims after driving 20 miles is amazing.

Highly recommend.

There are threads in the brake section of this forum (although they might be buried in there by now)...lots of happy customers.

Do they get rid of the squealing as well? I was going to wait until my stock pads were almost gone but getting rid of the dust/squeal would make it worth it.

I put these pads on a week after I got my car. Probably the best thing I could have done . Performance wise I dont know if they are any better than stock, but not having that brake dust is worth everything.

I agree, so long brake dust. Z26 pads along with some new slotted and drill rotors feel and look great.
