Tesla’s “Supercharger” stations.

I wish they’d come up with a different name for those. I sorta feel like that word belongs to the fuel powered world already.

I would say charging a 4000 pound vehicle to 90% for a total range of 275 miles in 50 minutes warrants calling them a "super charger"

Then go 0-60 in 2.2 seconds. You make a good point.

^^ lol yeah don't get me wrong, I love FI Camaros and what they can do. But a performance edition Tesla owner would probably laugh at us saying they don't deserve the word supercharger lol

Of course it makes sense, that wasn’t the thing. They could have called it Ultracharger station, or Super Charging station. It’s not a big deal.. just saying.

Who has 50min every 275 mikes to sit around as you drive to California?

It’s still only good as a local driver.

I would say being that most chargers are on the publics dime financed by tax dollars the charging stations should be called Lame and for the Rich who are the less than 3% who buy and afford to use the lame tech available being as Tax payer dollars lower the price of electric vehicles or they would be less than 1% of the market being as they are a third car for Yuppie Snobs and a real environmental POS when it comes to the batteries even versus a conventional car even with its emissions they might as well be Hummers all over the place.....and be the same environmental impact....just like force fed corn from flaming liberals its a bad idea forced on us..........." THE PROBLEM IS BIG GOVERNMENT" ...RONALD REAGAN believe it, I am a disabled vet whos worked most his life as my extended family for the government I live in a capitol City that has more per capita prisons than anywhere in America in a solid red state ruled by Liberal big cities we hate who put out all the news and shove their policies on us.........

agreed and this is one of the main reasons the platform hasn't exploded. Although the model 3 release shows a lot of promise. They plan to expand the network of chargers by atleast double next year - if they could knock down the charging speeds I think a lot of people will switch to tesla for a commuter/short trip car.

That’s the spirit! But could you maybe shorten it just a wee bit?

PM SENT. There’s no way to answer this on a public forum without offending 2/3 of the people who would read it.

It’s all good.

Replied back. I was just saying it’s still lacking in some aspects. Interesting technology.

Did you read the thread of Tesla owners bashing people for blocking charging stations in the off topic forum? It was hilarious.
