26" rear tire with stock size fronts
Just an FYI on running a 26" rear tire with the tall stock-size front tires on a Gen 6 SS. The ECM does not like it. bhillakaiceberg had mentioned that sometimes he pulls both ABS fuses when doing this, but has no power steering with the fuses pulled. I tried just turning everything off (the ~10 sec hold of the traction control button) which gives the stabilitrack off light on the dash, and it was ok on the street. But on the dragstrip, I had it flash a service stabilitrack error early in a run, and looking at my scanner, there is a timing pull event early in the run which probably corresponds to that. Looks like the thing to do in this situation (when you're racing) is to just go ahead and pull those 2 ABS fuses. BTW I had changed the tires revs/mile in the ECM per MT's stated circumference.

No abs system likes that going back to the 4th gen. You have to stay withing 3/4" front to back or pull abs fuse(s) and light the dash up like its christmas. Lol

Does anyone know off the top of their head which fuses those would be? I'm running a 26" rear with stock fronts, but cut a 1.54 60' and a 6.90 in the quarter. It felt strong but do ya think it was pulling timing and has more left in it?
