WAZE on Android Auto

I just found out that WAZE is supposedly available in Android Auto now. Planning to try it at lunch today. Anybody tried this yet?

It's been out for about 2 - 3 months now. I've been using it flawlessly.

I tried it out on my truck for a brief period of time, but just use Google Maps now.

I use it everyday in the Camaro and in my DD with Pioneer AVH4200NEX unit installed. Very well integrated.

I use it everyday on the way to and from work. It saved me from a step ladder in the middle of the road just this morning. I would like to say I would have seen it, but it was a black step ladder on a fresh paved road. It would have been rough.

I like it for the warnings, however, I find that google maps is faster and more reliable when it comes to getting from point A to B.

Waze is great. About 3 weeks ago it told me about debree on the road ahead. Sure enough about a quarter mile down the road a huge piece of tractor-trailer tire right in the middle of the highway. Everybody in front and behind me was like oh sh#t!! I was prepared to swerve way before it. Thanks Waze and the person who reported it.

Waze on the Navi display is one of the best features of the car.

Didn’t find the topic speaking about waze and apple carplay....
What the trick to have waze on apple car play from an iPhone?

The trick is to convince Apple to allow someone else to replace their own apps (Apple Maps is the only option) with something better (Google Maps or Waze) -- good luck with that.

Used it for a couple days now. Really liking it. Thought it wasn't gonna show speed limits based on what I read on other threads, but it's there.

Been using WAZE since it was released in my 17 SS 6M....just pop my phone into my Proclip and android auto starts.....have WAZE Google Maps, Amazon Music, Pandora and others. Google Maps is better at difficult navigations, but WAZE has saved my bacon twice telling me 'police ahead'...not that I was doing anything wrong though. Once in a while the car speakers don't start, even though the screen is showing navigation and music. I have to unplug my phone and start over, generally one time and all is good. WAZE only works if everyone is pro-active, inputting data when one sees a reportable situation. I like it, plus my phone is charging while plugged into the ProClip.
