Anyone with a 1LE change hood vent color?

Anyone change their hood vent color with keeping the 1LE black hood wrap?

Thought about maybe going red but think it may be a bit much...

I've seen it before and it doesn't look good in my opinion.

Maybe a carbon fibre black or grey
Or a dark grey.
Something subtle.

I swapped mine out to white ones, I like the way it looks. I was never a fan of the gloss black vents in the middle of all that matte black. Now, the white ties it in with the body of the car better and breaks up the space. If I ever change my mind, I still have my other ones. Actually plan on having the center of my bowties done in white soon too.

Actually come to think about it, I haven't taken any pics of the car since I did it...I will try to remember to take a pic next week.

When you pop the hood, just remove the front most 4 plugs of the liner. The "buckets" are snapped into the vents so I didn't need to remove the vents but it looked like they are attached/tightened down with a bolt. You may just need to snug that down a bit. Also I read somewhere that there is also a mild adhesive that is holding the vent to the exterior of the hood, but the bolt(s) do the majority or the holding. Hope that helps

I hadn't really thought about it. Anyone have HBM and replace the vents with painted ones to match the car? I'd love to see it
