Noise Cancelling Mic.

I recently got a system installed in my 2017 4Banger, used the ******** custom box, 2 Kicker CVR 12's and a Kicker amp. Everything was fine for the first day or two, I am now having an issue where, the cars idle will control a steady bass tone, 1k rpm is a steady low drum, and it will go up to about 2.5k before cutting off, it comes and goes while driving. I called the place that did the install, and they have no clue on how to fix it other than cutting the cab noise reduction mic, but they don't want to do that, nor do i want them to. Does anyone have any ideas or has anyone ran into this problem before?
I tried to look through the forum, but I am honestly lazy about it lol

I unplugged mine from the connector at the amp. I just have the chimes on that connector now. Four wires, one for each mic, one for the crank sensor, one for the chimes. I don't remember for certain without looking at it, but I *think* the chimes wire is the one nearest the rear of the car, so leave that one alone and pop the other three out.

Can you take a picture of your connector. I want to do this but don't want to clip the wrong wires. I hate not having the chimes.

Yes, coming right up! I was correct, except there are five wires, I guess one for each mic and two for the crank. Basically, you need the white wire, remove the two green wires and the two blue wires. Pics following...

Plugs 1, 2, and 4 (plug 4 being closest to the rear of the car) can be left alone. On plug 3, remove the two blue and two green wires. I've outlined in red the white wire you need to leave plugged in for your chimes, etc, to work. Not the cleanest job on my part here, but it works. I wrapped the ends of each pulled wire in electrical tape to make sure nothing touched and caused interference, but I doubt it's really necessary.

It seems that I may have been *slightly* mistaken and that there are in fact six wires in that plug. If that is so, then really all you need to know is that the white wire with the green stripe is the one which is for your chimes and reversing sensors, so as long as that one is left alone you're all set. My apologies if any confusion was caused. It also seems that you can probably get away with just pulling one wire for each of the mics instead of two, but I haven't verified that. Here is the response I gave when queried about the number of wires:

"Hey there, how's it going? You could be correct... how many wires are in that plug total? Basically, you want just one left in there, which is for the chimes and backup sensors, and that's the one I marked on the photo. I was thinking I pulled one wire for each mic and two for the crank sensor, but maybe it's two wires for each mic and one for the crank sensor. If that is the case, it is *probably* enough to just pull one wire for each of the mics to stop them picking up, but I guess it's up to you if you want to experiment. Just so long as that white one with the green stripe is left plugged in."

Microphones are just variants of capacitors. Disconnect one of the two wires and they are out of the circuit completely.
