BMR toe rods squeking?

I installed bmr springs, upper and lower trailing arms, toe rods, and cradle lockout. When i drive the car and then park, i can push on the back end and it seems the ball jointed toe rods are squeking really bad. Has any one else had these squak like that, they also are tilted all the way forward or backward on the ball joint, they never stay straight up and down but i dont see that being a reasson for them to squek. Any info appreciated!

It's probably not the toe rods. It's probably the poly bushings in the trailing arms. Did you grease them? Poly bushings are known to squeak a little.

Yes i greased em3 times with mobil 1 ( trailing arms). Looked more into it and the mustang owners had it happen also on there parts with the ball jointed ends, same thing, worse after you drive. I can put my hand on it and feel the toe rods creak... im going to try lubeing em and see what happens

We have not seen this issue with the 6th Gen toe rods before. The Mustang part we had this issue with is a completely different type and even manufacturer of bearing that is used in the rod end of the TR007. I have however seen this on some of our other rod end parts when exposed to harsh driving conditions and the joint gets dried out. Is it both sides or only 1 specifically? Try removing the toe rod in question, use brake clean to rinse off any foreign debris from the ball part of the rod end, then apply a lubricant. We recommend a motor cycle chain lubricant or something similar to provide a good protective coating as well as lubrication. If the problem persists after that, contact me directly and we will replace the rod ends

This stuff works GREAT for protecting and lubricating BMR Rod Ends!!! As Eric said, clean them up good with brake cleaner first, then coat them liberally with this stuff.

Awsome, i got some chain lube from when i used to ride. It is both sides, first it was one side. Then again i figured they just needed lube, the car was driven in the rain two times so far, and probably has 800 miles on the toe rods. They perform great so far. Ill clean and lube em this weekend and post back!

I had squeaks from mine as well... chain lube (or this stuff) quieted it all down. I've driven it through one winter without any issues. I just cleaned/lubed the ball joints before and after the winter.

Ok so atleast i know what the squeak is, i sparyed chain lube on the joint while it was on the car and rotated it. But it did not work.... still squaks, also temperature plays a role in it also, when they get warm after driving for 16 mins its worse. Sometimes when its completely cold it dont squak. Also i can put my hand on the toe rod while someone pushes the rear of the car up and down and I actually feel the noise / vibration. Put my hand on other various parts to make sure, definatley the toe rod.

If i remove em to clean and lune theme, do you huys think ill need a realigment ?

Rule of thumb... any time you remove a suspension part, its best in mininum to get an alignment check. Most places its free....some may charge 10-20$. Better safe than sorry

I took off the rear wheels and cleaned the joints with chain cleaner (I have a bunch of the BMR ball joint arms, you might not need to take anything off to clean/lube the toe rods). Waited 15 minutes for the cleaner to dry and sprayed the lube... then I drove around for a few minutes, took the wheels off again and sprayed the joints one more time.

Depending on how much you drive, you could probably get away with lubing the parts during oil changes... that way the car is on a lift and everything is easy to reach.

I agree with PolynesianPowerhouse, at least get your alignment checked if you end up taking off the link.

Ok, i pulled the wheels off, cleaned and lubed the toe rods, just drive the car and they still squeak. I also regeased the upper and lower trailing arms. Im runnin out of ideas....
I dint know at this point if it is the toe rods, i cant seem to pinpoint the squak. I might have to take it all apart to figure out whats going on.
