Intake manifold spacer companies

Wondering if Jacfab is the only one making mani spacers for the LFX engine?

JacFab, BCS, and MACE (but you have to ship from Australia w/ MACE)

Only JacFab and BCS are machined for oring gaskets, MACE you have to use RTV to seal.

Jacfab rules! I always recommend Jacfab intake spacers.

From BCS's website: "Designed and produced by JacFab LLC to BCS specs and material requirements, these Intake Manifold Spacers are the perfect addition to your LFX Camaro. You can expect a 7-10% increase in low-end torque, and a 4-6% gain in low-to-mid range HP."

So, you basically have MACE or Jacfab. I'm thinking about one and it would be JacFab whether you buy it from JacFab or BCS.

I wonder what the spec difference is?
I don't think Jason's claims a hp gain, does it?

Not sure. JacFab states: "•Up to a 7-10% increase in low-mid range torque, and a 4-6% gain in low-mid range HP."

Ahhh, cool. I did a port job on my 80TB and my intake manifold and installed the spacers all at the same time and the difference is substantial. It's like a different car.

Hey guys, Justin Hilliard of BCS Auto here. Our spacer design is almost identical to JacFab, aside from the material used. We decided to go with a G10/FR4 composite material instead of JF's material for a few reasons.

One of the reasons is that I feel that G10/FR4 is more friendly when it comes to installing nitrous/fuel nozzles for direct-port injection, as well as methanol or supplemental fuel injectors...though Nitrous Outlet's machinist completely failed with our last test spacer. I'm of the opinion that G10/FR4 will hold threaded components much better in the long run. Another reason we chose G10/FR4 I was concerned with nitrous/fuel/methanol collecting in the semi-porous material that JacFab uses. With our composite intake manifolds, I'd hate to have pre-detonation ignite fuel/nitrous mix in the intake manifold and cause you to lose your intake manifold, so it was a precaution I wanted to take.

With all of that being said, I'm not suggesting that JacFab's material is inferior in any way, (I am still running my JF Spacer until I start spraying next week) I just wanted to cover all bases with ours. We're even currently holding the same price as the JacFab spacer, at least until material costs eat up our budget. (See attached image for Jason@'s sexy mill work)

On another note, the Mace Engineering Spacer is only 6.35mm (0.25") thick while the JacFab and BCS Auto Spacers are 19mm (0.75") thick, big difference.

JacFab, BCS, and Mace are available options....not just JacFab and Mace. Just because I'm rarely on the forums doesn't mean you've gotta exclude us!

hence why I went with your ported TB and mani (soon). I figure I'd see if anyone else makes one of the same size that does the same thing for less. But I guess its a standard cost for all the spacers out there.

ghosted thank you for chiming in , I feel a lot of people might benefits from knowing this and if you want to make more of a presence on the forum it wouldn't hurt as I've never heard of BCS. However I'm a noob to the 5th gen and been on the forum for 4 months so take that into account. Do you have a website link for your products?

It should also be noted that MACE have different thickness options, basically 1/4", 1/2" and 1", and the prices all vary (thinner = cheaper price)...

However, when I was designing and prototyping the JacFab spacer, I tried and dynoed 1/2, 3/4, and 1"... The 1" had the greatest gains in the low to mid range power, but sacrificed too much power on the top end. The 1/2" had little gains on the low to mid range, with no loss on the top end, but also had no gains... Hence why I only offer one thickness, 3/4", as it should nice noticable gains in the bottom end to mid range, with little to no loss on the top end.

BTW, I am Jason @ Jacfab, but my user name has been changed by the forum admins as I stopped paying the site sponsor fee due to cost, and some other vendors complained. So now I'm just Jason@.

I know BCS may have some spacers in stock if they haven't all sold out yet, and I am about halfway done with a batch of JacFab spacers which will be ready to start shipping early next week.

No problem! I'm not sure if I can share the link on here without getting shut down, as I'm not a paying forum sponsor. One day, I hope that bcsauto.com can be a paying sponsor of camaro5.

I'm not surprised that you haven't heard of us. We've been in business for a little over a year, but our primary audience is our Facebook group (linked in my signature). As we grow and things slow down, I'll be able to focus on the c5 forums a bit more. Jason and I have a number of new projects in the works as well, so things should get even more exciting as time goes on.

I totally forgot that they were offering different thicknesses on theirs, thanks Jason!

Thanks for the clarification on materials. I'll hit one of you up when I get ready. I love showing off this v6 on the track.
