Looking for reliable dealer near Ventura County

Hey guys - just moved here. Looking for a reliable dealer that will take care of my baby. Anyone have any preferences?

Welcome!

I'm down in Camarillo and of course this is only an opinion, but here's what I've been doing.

Paradise Chevrolet in Ventura, I had a bad experience with their service department as well as some of my friends with their Corvettes. I don't attempt to use them anymore

SilverStar in Westlake, is where I purchased my 2017 Camaro. They told me that it would cost $300 to track ready my car and openly admitted they've never done it before, and they're not sure how to do it. I have never taken my car there, as I have no confidence. About 2 years ago I took my Corvette to Silver Star they quoted me $700 for a fix that was under warranty which they refused to do, then cost me $100 to pull the car out of SilverStar for an inspection fee. Took it to Keyes Chevrolet, who fixed it under warranty for free. I would never take my car to Silver Star.

Simi Valley Chevrolet - The Corvette club in the area used this shop and that is what brought me here. I've taken my 2015 Corvette ZO6 there for all warranty and general service. I have also taken my 2017 2ss Camaro there for all warranty and general service. Their service writers are extremely friendly and accommodating. I have never had a complaint regarding the repairs. As far as general oil change, usual stuff, they underpay their oil Tech who filled up my 10 quart Camaro with 8 quarts of oil and sent me on my way, and when I had my 2012 GS Corvette they put 10 quarts in my 8 court system system. Although they goofed on two occasions with a simple oil change, I hear this about many of the dealers.

I'll do most of the work myself, and utilize a local mechanic who I trust wholeheartedly. It's a small shop here in Camarillo, J&K Auto Repair. Matt, the son of the owner, is very talented. He works on all my hot rods including a blown 67. He also is mechanic for a top fuel drag car. As I said very talented.

Again just my opinions, Others May had success with some of the other dealers?
