Looking for a new daily driver--suggestions?

I currently have a '15 Durango R/T as my daily driver. Absolutely love the Durango--almost 45K miles in 19 months and not one single issue. The problem is that I travel extensively for my job (roughly 25K a year) and my territory just expanded. Yes, I get paid .54 a mile for mileage. I average 18mpg with the Hemi. Part of me wants to sell the Durango and get a 4-cylinder so that I can get 30+mpg and get the car paid off quicker using the mileage reimbursement money (like my coworkers do). I also get GM employee discount as well--so I want to stay GM. My garage currently has a '16 Tahoe LTZ, '16 Camaro SS and my '15 Durango R/T.

With that being said, I am considering the following cars and would appreciate any comments or reviews if you (or know someone) who owns the vehicle:

1. Chevy Cruze Hatchback Premier: Fully loaded with every option it's $29K, have found a few on sale for $23,500--plus add in GM discount, I'm around $20-$21K.
2. Chevy Equinox AWD Premier: I have to wait till the better motor becomes available, but it seems like a great little SUV.
3. '16 Leftover Cadillac CTS AWD: I have found several that are $10K-$15K off sticker because they are leftovers. They would be the same price as the Equinox with the better motor, ironically.
4. Just stick with the Durango and deal with the mileage. Again, I don't need to get a different vehicle--I enjoy driving the Durango.

I know that the smart move is to buy a base model 4-cylinder, but my car is like my second office because I am in it so much--so I want heated leather seats, heated steering wheel, decent sound system, remote start, push button start, decent infotainment system. Appreciate any feedback.

Keep the Durango. The difference in mileage will take years to pay off, especially with $2 gas.

FYI the 2.0T Equinox is already available. Unless you want the 1.6L diesel.

I'd keep the Durango. If you're driving that much you definitely want all the comforts of heated seats, leather, etc. You'll get that with the other cars you mentioned, but will they be as much fun to drive as that Hemi?

I would say for your purpose and getting something different to compliment your other cars, have a look at a Subaru BRZ.
If you really want to stay with GM the Cruze Hatch is a great option.

I would just stick with the Durango. If you enjoy it and it has all the features you want I would stick with that.

Also something to think about, as you said your car is your second office. You soak up alot of miles in it. If you do get something different, make sure its something you would be comfortable in for long trips and has even space for wahtever you need to bring.

Are you still looking for a bigger truck for a daily? Something to carry a full family, tow or fill with groceries or cargo? But you want better mpg. Maybe the new f-150s with the ecoboost 4 cylinders. How about going diesel like a chevy colorado.

Get a Volt.

Nice, comfortable car and you will make a killing on the mileage reimbursement.

The dealers are telling me that the 2.0T won't be on the lots till the fall. On Chevys website, the 2.0T isn't available yet also.

Financially speaking, this makes the best sense.

I've seen multiple 2.0Ts on dealer lots already. They're out there.

Here's one:
